UX.UI.STRUCTURE
I design for clarity first. Information should land clean, routes should make sense, and interaction should feel deliberate instead of decorative.
PERSONAL.AUTHOR.ROUTE
Personal site for James Bell — author, builder, designer, and system-minded creative behind the wider @RJS° structure.
This is the plain-language version. It says who I am, what I build, how I work, and where the larger bodies of work live. Say less. Mean more.
The work sits at the intersection of clarity, authorship, function, and feel.
I design for clarity first. Information should land clean, routes should make sense, and interaction should feel deliberate instead of decorative.
I turn concepts into working pages, connected destinations, and expandable structures that can grow without turning into a haunted closet of broken links.
I care how things are named, framed, and understood. Good language is part of the build, not trim taped on at the end like a panicked pageant sash.
CLARITY
I prefer pages that say what they mean and interfaces that stop pretending confusion is sophistication.
STRUCTURE
Good work holds because the underlying system holds. Architecture is not optional just because the colors are pretty.
PROOF
Testing, iteration, language, and final delivery matter. I like outcomes that can survive contact with reality.
The larger bodies of work live in their own rooms.
